Administrative Assistant

Julie de Marte was born and raised in Yorktown Heights, New York, and began dancing at the age of 4 in her hometown where she was trained heavily in ballet. She performed with her dance company at venues throughout Westchester County and New York City, including Alice Tully Hall and Tarrytown Musical Hall. In 2012, she attended the Summer London Olympics with her dance company as venue performers.

Julie graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Business Administration. While attending school, she performed in several concerts with the Muhlenberg Dance Association. During the summers, she worked as a teaching artist with a theater camp where she co-taught and directed over 30 children’s musicals including The Lion King Jr., Mary Poppins Jr., Aladdin Jr., and more.

Julie is thrilled to be joining the American Youth Dance Theater team as an Administrative Assistant. Her passion and lifelong involvement in dance continue to motivate her to help spread dance into the community and inspire the youth.
